Jai West is a half Japanese, half French-Canadian actor, screenwriter, and poet born in Vancouver, BC, in 1976. Based in Tokyo for over 25 years, he has appeared in numerous films and television shows in North America and Japan, including notable roles in Hazard and Survive Style 5+. West has also released two spoken word poetry albums and became the Chairman of Iron Chef Canada in 2018, with a memoir set to publish in 2026.
