Biography

Nancy Spungen was a pivotal figure in the 1970s punk rock scene as the girlfriend of English musician Sid Vicious. Born with schizophrenia and diagnosed at 15, she became a stripper and groupie, known for her outrageous behavior. Her tumultuous relationship with Vicious ended in tragedy when she was found dead from a single stab wound in their Hotel Chelsea room in October 1978.
