Biography

Yen Cheng-kuo was a Taiwanese actor born on October 10, 1974, in Xizhi, Taipei County. He began his film career at six and appeared in numerous Hou Hsiao-hsien films, including "Growing Up" (1983) and "Dust of Angels" (1992). Notably, he was nominated for a Golden Horse Award for Best Child Star in 1983 for his role in "The Sandwich Man." He also worked as a calligraphy teacher before his passing on October 7, 2025.
