Alex Lifeson

Biography

Aleksandar Živojinović, known professionally as Alex Lifeson, is a Canadian musician and guitarist for the rock band Rush. He co-founded the band in 1968 with drummer John Rutsey and bassist Jeff Jones, forming the core lineup that would remain unchanged until the band's initial dissolution in 2015. Lifeson has played on all of Rush's albums and has collaborated with other musicians, including his solo album "Victor" (1996) and various television theme songs.
