Ron Taylor was a versatile American actor, singer, and writer who got his start in musical theater, appearing in The Wiz before landing a breakthrough role as the killer plant Audrey II in Little Shop of Horrors. He also starred in notable TV shows such as Star Trek: Deep Space Nine and The Simpsons, and created the critically acclaimed musical revue It Ain't Nothin' But the Blues, which earned him two Tony Award nominations.
