Genie Francis is a veteran American actress, best known for her 44-year tenure as Laura Spencer on the television soap opera General Hospital, for which she won a Daytime Emmy Award in 2007. She has also appeared in several other soap operas, including Days of Our Lives, All My Children, and The Young and the Restless. Francis is also known for her roles in the movie trilogy The Note. She has been married to actor Jonathan Frakes since 1988.
