Phillip Rhee

Biography

Philip Rhee is a Korean-American actor and director, best known for his role as Tommy Lee in the Best of the Best film series, which spawned four sequels. A skilled martial artist holding ranks in Tae Kwon Do, Hap Ki Do, and Kendo, Rhee drew inspiration from his 1980 representation of the US Taekwondo Team's championship victory to create the screenplay for the first film. He has also worked on a screenplay of his own.
