Charles Farrell was born in Dublin, Ireland on August 6, 1900, and began his acting career in America before moving to England at a young age. He appeared on stage, in films like "Night and the City" (1950) and "The Crimson Pirate" (1952), and later found success in villainous roles, differing from his American namesake. He passed away on August 27, 1988, in London, England.
