Biography

Micky Dolenz, born George Michael Dolenz Jr., is a veteran of the 1960s pop/rock band the Monkees, alongside lead vocalist and co-star Micky's sister Gemma Marie ("Coco"). As a member of the Monkees, he appeared on the Emmy-winning TV sitcom (1966–1968) and contributed vocals to numerous studio recordings. After the group disbanded, Dolenz continued in various entertainment endeavors, including television directing, radio hosting, and theater direction.
