Miriam Katherine McDonald is a Canadian actress born on July 26, 1987, in Oakville, Ontario. She rose to fame playing the lead role of Emma Nelson on the popular Canadian television series Degrassi: The Next Generation. Her notable roles also include Danielle 'Daisy' Brooks in "Poison Ivy: The Secret Society" and Dawn Gensler in "She's Too Young".
