Ulrik Wivel

Biography

Ulrik Wivel is a Danish film director and former ballet dancer, trained at Det Kongelige Teater. He debuted as an instructor with the documentary "Danser" in 2000 and went on to direct films including "This is Me Walking", which won the Robertpris for best short fiction film, and "Comeback". Wivel has also worked in Super 16, a filmmaking group, and has received recognition at festivals such as New York Film Festival.
