Irene Tsu

Biography

Irene Tsu is a Shanghai-born American actress born on November 4, 1945, to a banker father and painter mother who migrated from China to Taiwan, Hong Kong, and finally the US. She began her career as a teenage dancer in Broadway's Flower Drum Song before being discovered by choreographer Hermes Pan for the film adaptation. Tsu has since appeared in notable films such as "Paradise, Hawaiian Style" and "Three the Hard Way".
