Biography

Ary Abittan is a French actor and humorist born on January 31, 1974, in Paris to a Sephardic Jewish family. He began his career as a taxi driver at 19, which financed his first theater lessons, and later performed his own sketches since 1993. Notable roles include the lead in Jean-Luc Moreau's play "Happy Hanukah" (2007) and the main role in France 2's "Nos années pension" (2007), as well as a starring turn in Philippe de Chauveron's film "Serial (Bad) Weddings" (2014).
