Kim Chan

Biography

Kim Chan was a Chinese-American actor and producer born in Shanghai to a family from Taishan, Guangdong, who immigrated to the US in 1928. He pursued an acting career in the 1940s, working as a maître d' before landing roles as extra and minor character actors. Notable appearances include Benny Wong in "The Corruptor" (1999) and Mr. Kim in "The Fifth Element."
