Shay Roundtree is an American actor born on November 23, 1977, in Augusta, Georgia. He began his acting career by joining drama clubs and later trained at the Augusta Mini Theatre under Tyrone Butler and Judith Simon-Butler. After making his screen debut in the 2002 film "Drumline," Roundtree won the role of Junie Gatling on NBC's "Kingpin" just three months after arriving in Los Angeles.
