Biography

Sally Forrest was a dancer and actress who began her career in MGM musicals as a chorus dancer in the 1940s. She made her acting debut in Ida Lupino's Not Wanted (1949) and went on to star in other films noir, including Mystery Street (1950), directed by John Sturges. Her breakthrough came with the film While the City Sleeps (1956), a murder mystery co-starring Ida Lupino and Dana Andrews.
