Hoyt Richards is a model and actor born John Richard Hoyt on April 10, 1962. He achieved international fame in the late 1980s as one of the biggest names in modeling, working alongside Cindy Crawford and Fabio Lanzoni. A former varsity football player at Princeton University, Richards' athletic career was derailed by a shoulder injury that led him to pursue modeling instead. His campaigns include top designers such as Gianni Versace and Ralph Lauren.
