Biography

Leon Russell was a renowned American musician and songwriter known for his versatility across multiple genres, including rock and roll, country, gospel, and blues. He earned six gold records and won two Grammy Awards, with his song "This Masquerade" covered by over 75 artists and "A Song for You" named to the Grammy Hall of Fame in 2018. Russell was inducted into both the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and the Songwriters Hall of Fame in 2011. He collaborated with notable artists, including Joe Cocker and Dick Dale, on numerous tours and recordings.
