Marta Heflin was an American actress known for her roles in Robert Altman's films, including "Come Back to the 5 & Dime, Jimmy Dean, Jimmy Dean" and "A Perfect Couple." She began her career on stage, appearing in notable musicals such as "Fiddler on the Roof," "Hair," and "Jesus Christ Superstar." Marta was also a member of a prominent acting family, being niece to Oscar-winning actor Van Heflin.
