Benjamin Whitrow

Biography

Benjamin John Whitrow was a British actor born on February 17, 1937, in Oxford. He made his professional debut in 1955 and served in the King's Dragoon Guards during national service from 1956 to 1958. Whitrow appeared in notable films such as Quadrophenia (1979), Clockwise (1986), and Chicken Run (2000), earning a BAFTA TV nomination for his role as Mr Bennet in the 1995 BBC version of Pride and Prejudice.
