Michal Dočolomanský

Biography

Michal Dočolomanský was a Slovak actor and singer born on March 25, 1942, in Nedeca, Poland, to a family of Slovaks. He trained as an actor at the Academy of Performing Arts in Bratislava and became a member of the Slovak National Theater. Notable highlights include his starring role as Jánošík in the successful play Na skle maľované from 1974 to 2002, for which he received numerous awards, including the Deserved Artist Award in 1982.
