Jason Downs

Biography

Jason Wright Downs is an American actor and singer, known for his roles in John Waters' Hairspray, Neil Patrick Harris' Clara's Heart, and the film Racing Daylight alongside David Strathairn and Melissa Leo. He graduated from New York University's Tisch School of the Arts and has performed on stage and screen for over 30 years. Downs released two albums on Jive Records and toured Europe with his single "White Boy with a Feather".
