Corey Reynolds is an American actor born on July 3, 1974, in Richmond, Virginia. He originated the role of Seaweed in the Broadway adaptation of Hairspray, earning a Tony Award and Drama Desk Award nomination. Reynolds also brought his law enforcement background to the role of David Gabriel in the TNT crime series The Closer, and played Sheriff Mike Thompson in the SyFy/USA Network TV series Resident Alien.
