Norm Crosby

Biography

Norman Lawrence Crosby, born on September 15, 1927, in Dorchester, Boston, was an American comedian and voice actor known as "The Master of Malaprop." He served in the US Coast Guard during WWII, earning permanent hearing damage from a concussion, which he later overcame with a hearing aid. As a stand-up comedian, Crosby refined his humorous style by incorporating malapropisms, initially gaining recognition on The Tonight Show.
