Biography

Beat Schlatter is a Swiss kabaretist, actor, and screenwriter born on May 5, 1961, in Zurich. He gained recognition for his work with the punk band Liliput, performing as a drummer from 1979 to 1982, and later co-founding the cabaret group Götterspass with Patrick Frey and Enzo Esposito in 1984. Schlatter has also appeared in notable films such as "Katzendiebe" (1996) and "Komiker" (2000), for which he wrote both the screenplay and acted, earning awards including the Prix Walo and SSA-Preis.
