Jennifer Schmid is a Swiss actress and dancer born in 1982 in Mombasa, Kenya, to Ugandan and Kenyan parents. She grew up in the Berner Oberland and Zurich, where she began her acting training at age 21, supported by the Fritz Gerber Stiftung for young talented individuals. Notable roles include Putzfrau in "Tag und Nacht" and Nele in Berlin, for which she was nominated for the Swiss Film Award as Best Newcomer Talent in 2010.
