Flavio Briatore is an Italian businessman and former Formula One team principal who has led Alpine to significant success despite being dogged by allegations of cheating. Prior to his tenure with Alpine, he managed Renault F1 and was chairman of Queens Park Rangers F.C., but faced a lifetime ban from F1 after the 2008 "Crashgate" scandal, which was later overturned. Briatore's wealth is reported to be $200 Million USD.
