Raymond William Hatton was an American film actor born in Red Oak, Iowa, who initially pursued a career in medicine before becoming enamored with acting after starring in a school play. He formed a successful comedy team with Wallace Beery and became known for his roles as Rusty Joslin in The Three Mesquiteers series and Bucky in Black Gold. Hatton's career spanned nearly 500 films, including television appearances like the Adventures of Superman.
