Aryana Engineer is a Canadian actress born on March 6, 2001, in Vancouver, British Columbia. She gained recognition for her role as Maxine "Max" Coleman in the 2009 psychological thriller Orphan, where she played a deaf six-year-old girl using sign language. Aryana's performance was praised due to her own connection to the character. Her other notable roles include Becky in Resident Evil: Retribution (2012) and Belinda in a short film (2015).
