Shiva Rose Afshar is an American actress and activist born in Santa Monica, California to Iranian parents. She fled Iran with her family during the 1979 revolution and has since appeared in films such as "The First $20 Million Is Always the Hardest" and HBO's "61*". Rose has also founded a natural beauty product line and was previously married to actor Dylan McDermott.
