Kevin Willmott

Biography

Kevin Willmott is an Academy Award-winning American film director and screenwriter known for tackling black issues in his work. His notable films include Ninth Street, C.S.A.: The Confederate States of America, Bunker Hill, and The Only Good Indian, which explores Native American forced assimilation at an Indian boarding school. Willmott has collaborated with Spike Lee on several projects, including BlacKkKlansman, for which they won the Academy Award for Best Adapted Screenplay.
