Mathias Sercu is a Belgian actor, director, and writer born on December 22, 1970, in Ardooie. He won the title of "Sterartiest 2009" after emerging victorious in the third edition of Steracteur Sterartiest 2009, raising €51,511,200 for Het Anker, an organization supporting children with autism spectrum disorder. Sercu has also been active with theatergezelschap De Spelerij since 2010 and is a co-founder of Theatermakery Het Eenzame Westen.
