Biography

Oleh Skrypka, born May 24, 1964, is a Ukrainian musician and vocalist. He co-founded the rock group Vopli Vidoplyasova in 1987 with Yurii Zdorenko and Oleksandr Pipa, winning the first prize at the Kyiv rock festival "Rock-parade" that year. The group released their hit single "Танцi" ("dancing") and went on to tour France and Switzerland. Skrypka has since become a prominent figure in Ukrainian music.
