Georgi Shapovalov was a Soviet actor and theater performer who served in World War II. He gained recognition for his role as Soldier Terentyev in the 1956 film "The Forty-First." After being wounded in combat, Shapovalov continued to pursue an acting career, studying at the VGIK in Moscow under prominent directors Sergei Gerasimov and Tamara Makarova.
