Montel Brian Anthony Williams, born July 3, 1956, is a television host and actor known for hosting The Montel Williams Show, which ran in syndication from 1991 to 2008, and currently hosting The Balancing Act and Military Makeover with Montel on Lifetime. He founded the Montel Williams MS Foundation after being diagnosed with multiple sclerosis in 1999. A decorated veteran, Williams served in both the US Marine Corps and US Navy for 22 years.
