Isadore "Friz" Freleng (1906–1995) was a renowned American animator, cartoonist, director, and producer best known for his work on Looney Tunes and Merrie Melodies series of cartoons from Warner Bros. He directed over 266 cartoons, creating iconic characters like Bugs Bunny, Tweety Bird, and Speedy Gonzales, earning four Academy Awards and winning the title of most honored Warner director.
