Greg Travis is a well-known American actor and comedian, born on July 31, 1958, in Dallas, Texas. He began performing magic at 12 and went on to win several competitions, including best comedy magician at the Texas Association of Magicians convention. In Hollywood, Travis studied film at Sherwood Oaks Film School before creating his comedy character David Sleaze, The Punk Magician, which gained international recognition, appearing on Rodney Dangerfield's HBO specials.
