Biography

Boris Smirnov was a Soviet actor known for his roles in "Voyna i mir IV: Pierre Bezukhov" (1967), for which he played Prince Vasili. A notable artist and actor, he was a laureate of the Lenin Prize in 1959 and a People's Artist of the USSR in 1963. He was a member of the Communist Party of the Soviet Union from 1958.
