Biography
Kira Golovko was a renowned Soviet and Russian actress celebrated for her iconic portrayal of Countess Rostova in the 1965 film adaptation of "War and Peace." A multiple award winner, including the Stalin Prize, she earned the prestigious title of People's Artist of the RSFSR. Following her illustrious stage career, Golovko also taught at the Moscow Art Theater School, mentoring notable students like Natalia Yegorova.
