Biography

Mary Chronopoulou was a Greek actress born on July 16, 1933, in Athens. She rose to popularity in the 1960s, starring in numerous films produced by Finos Film and becoming one of Greece's main theatrical protagonists. A versatile performer, she also excelled in musicals and earned critical acclaim for her roles in Theodoros Angelopoulos' films and Kostas Vrettakos' The Swallow's Children. She won awards for her performances, including the Lifetime Achievement Award in 2021.
