Biography

Gegia, born Francesca Carmela Assunta Antonaci on July 16, 1959, in Galatina, Italy, began expressing her artistic curiosity at a young age. She pursued a degree in psychology from the University of Rome "La Sapienza" and developed her talents as a singer, pianist, dancer, and actress through rigorous training. Gegia's breakthrough came with appearances on TV shows such as Bingooo and Sotto le stelle, followed by roles in films like Bomber (1982).
