Biography

Lita Baron was a Spanish-born American actress and singer born Isabel Castro on August 11, 1923. She began her career as a singer and dancer with Xavier Cugat's orchestra before appearing in numerous Hollywood films and television series starting in 1944. Her personal life included a marriage to actor Rory Calhoun from 1948 to 1970, and she later worked in radio and real estate after their divorce.
