Heinz Walter Krückeberg was a German actor and theater director born on March 14, 1927, in Dortmund. He made a lasting impact on the screen with notable roles in the ARD-Krimireihe Tatort and the Geißendörfer production Lindenstraße, where he played Sonderling Walter Backhaus from 1998 to 2000. Krückeberg was also recognized for his acting talent at the Naoussa International Film Festival, winning the "Best Acting Award – Alexis Damianos" for his work in the short film Abendlied by Frauke Thielecke.
