Osvaldo Benavides, born on June 14, 1979, in Mexico City, Mexico, began his acting career at age 9 and quickly made a name for himself in television. Notable highlights include winning the Best Young Lead Actor award at the 14th TVyNovelas Awards for his role as Nandito in "María la del Barrio" (1995) and again at the 16th TVyNovelas Awards for his role as Lazarito in "Te sigo amando".
