Biography

Ronnie Spector was a renowned American singer who co-founded and fronted the influential girl group the Ronettes in the late 1950s. The group achieved international fame with hits like "Be My Baby" and "(The Best Part of) Breakin' Up", and she later enjoyed a solo career revival in the 1980s, including a Billboard top-five single on Eddie Money's "Take Me Home Tonight". Spector was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame as a member of the Ronettes in 2007.
