Biography

Paolo Noël was a Québécois singer, television host, and actor born Paul-Émile Noël on March 4, 1929, in Montreal. He rose to fame in the 1950s, winning a radio imitation contest with Tino Rossi in 1948 and making his television debut on Music-Hall in 1955. His early success was largely due to his introduction by impresario Jean Grimaldi, who helped him secure more prominent opportunities.
