Biography

Giuseppe Gentile is a retired Italian triple jumper who won a bronze medal at the 1968 Summer Olympics. A highly decorated athlete, he also holds world records in the triple jump and won numerous international and national titles throughout his career. After retiring from sports, Gentile transitioned to acting, notable for his role as Jason in Pier Paolo Pasolini's adaptation of Medea opposite Maria Callas.
