Biography

Mario Socrate was a renowned Italian scholar and writer, born in Rome in 1920. He was a professor emeritus at the Third University of Rome and a founder of the Città aperta magazine. Socrate's notable literary achievements include winning the Premio Viareggio for his poetry collection "Punto di Vista" (Milano, Garzanti, 1985).
