Biography

Cardew Robinson was a British comic whose career in music hall and Gang Shows brought him to prominence. He appeared in notable roles such as Frowsi, the Fakir in "Carry on Up the Khyber" (1968), and Police Driver in "Ladies Who Do" (1963). A skilled performer with a background in repertory theatre, Robinson also created and toured his 'Cardew the Cad of the School' character while serving in the RAF during World War II.
