Barry Adamson, born June 11, 1958, is an English rock musician who rose to prominence in the late 1970s as a member of Magazine and later worked with Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds, Pan Sonic, and Grinderman. He has also had prolific solo work and collaborated on soundtracks, including David Lynch's surrealistic film Lost Highway. Adamson's diverse musical tastes span from Alice Cooper to Motown to David Bowie.
